We’ll unpack, organize, and store everything in labeled totes. When your student arrives and is ready to settle in, we deliver directly to their dorm or apartment.

Not included: Furniture, liquids, soaps/detergents, toiletries, or any prohibited items.

Q: Is this only for dorms?
A: No! This service is for students moving into dorms AND furnished apartments. At this time we are unable to accept large furniture.

Q: Do I need a mindyKNOWS membership to use Ship & Set?
A: Not at all! Ship & Set is available to all NAU families, with or without a membership.

Q: When can I start shopping and shipping items to you?
A: Items must be received June 1 – August 12, 2025.

Q: Can I ship items from home that I already have?
A: Yes! You can box up items from home and ship them directly to us.

Q: What items can I ship?
A: Bedding, decor, school supplies, storage items, and personal essentials. We recommend checking NAU's official Packing List for guidance.

Q: What items are NOT allowed?
A: Furniture, liquids, soaps/detergents, toiletries, and any items prohibited by NAU.

Q: How far in advance should I ship items?
A: We recommend shipping 2–4 weeks before move-in to ensure everything arrives and is organized in time.

Q: How long will you store my items?
A: We provide climate-controlled storage from when items arrive until your student is ready for delivery.

Q: Where do you deliver?
A: We deliver directly to your student's dorm room or apartment in Flagstaff.

Q: Can you wash bedding and towels?
A: Yes! Fresh laundering is available as an optional add-on service.

Q: How do I get your shipping address?
A: Once you book Ship & Set, we'll provide you with our Flagstaff shipping address and any special instructions.

Q: What if something gets damaged during shipping?
A: We handle items with care, but shipping damage should be reported to the carrier. We'll help document any issues.

Q: Can I ship items from multiple stores?
A: Absolutely! We'll receive packages from any retailer and organize everything together.

Q: How will I know when items arrive?
A: We'll notify you when packages are received and again when everything is organized and ready for delivery.

Q: What if my student's move-in date changes?
A: No problem! Just let us know and we'll adjust the delivery schedule accordingly.

Q: Is there a limit to how much I can ship?
A: We can accommodate most reasonable amounts. Contact us if you have an unusually large shipment so we can plan accordingly.

Q: What happens to all the packaging materials?
A: We handle all the cardboard and packing materials - everything gets properly recycled.
