Since we flew in and out of Sea-Tac, I got to spend some time on each end of the trip in Seattle. The day we flew in, I popped by my Grandma’s condo in downtown Seattle to visit her, my auntie, and cousin on my dad’s side of the family. It was super windy up on the 33rd floor of her condo, but the views are worth it — so spectacular!

On the way to the airport to catch our flight home, Katie, Susie and I made a detour at Pike Place Market and Gasworks Park. At Pike Place, we had about an hour to poke around the stalls and shops. Katie bought some flowers and I purchased a pound of smoked salmon for Shrek which he LOVED. We all got tapioca pearl drinks — mango for me and Katie and Susie got watermelon. I also snacked on a delish teriyaki chicken skewer. I have this theory that food tastes better when cooked on a stick and over open flames.

Gasworks Park has incredible views of the cityscape which we took full advantage of with hiking and picture taking.
After Katie dropped us off at the airport, Susie and I went through security, made a few purchases from Fireworks and grabbed a quick bite to eat at Anthony’s. At Anthony’s, I had the second half of my lunch. Decided on a hard lemonade and french fries.
The sushi is actually Susie’s lunch she picked up at Pike Place
…Until we see each other again, Seattle!
