Yikes! That extra copy writing gig is totally cutting into my weeknights which is when I do the majority of my blogging. That being said, I feel so much better this weekend about where I’m at on the project than I did at this time last weekend. Last weekend I was feeling slightly overwhelmed and stressed. It’s A LOT of copy and my deadline is looming on the horizon. However, when I submitted my drafts this week, the team I’m reporting to was pleasantly surprised and pleased with how far along I am. So back to blogging. At least for now!

On Friday, I was asked to represent my company at a lunch hosted by one of our contracted partners. Shmoozing, free lunch, and 3 hours of bocce ball at Campo di Booce? I was so there! Bonus? Shrek was, too — one of the perks of working for the same company. In fact, we were the only two who got to go! LOVED being outside, socializing. The sun was shining, there was a nice breeze… It sure beat sitting in a climate-controlled office staring at a computer monitor! Even if it is a 27″ Apple LED Monitor! (Heh. I’m totally still in the honeymoon phase when it comes to my new work station!)
