Game Night on the Row

In lieu of tennis this week, Gina, Susie, Sonja and I met up for a round of Scrabble at Santana Row. The original plan was to grab a salad to-go from from Pluto’s and play our game in one of the central courtyards. I figured we’d fit right in with the chess set! ;)

Only, a glass of wine sounded lovely too. And Vintage Wine Bar (operated by Vintage Wine Merchants) was kind enough to allow us to take over one of their outdoor tables for our game and eat our salads there since they don’t serve dinner. (Though it should be noted that they do have scrumptious cheeses and chocolates to pair with wine!)

After my win (yay!), we took a little “victory lap” around the Row to stretch our legs. I love strolling here, especially on weekday nights when it’s not crazy-crowded, meaning Mondays – Wednesdays since Thursday seems to be the new going-out night.

After a failed attempt at Kara’s Cupcake (turns out they close at 9 pm on Wednesdays and we arrived at 9:02!!), we ended up at Falafel on the Row where we indulged on their FAB garlic fries and caught some live music!

Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday evening, if I do say so myself!
