I bumped my mileage up last week to approximately 6.5 miles per run (6.5 miles is usually my “long run” and the rest are closer to 4.5) and all weekend long I was ridiculously ravenous. Like, I feared that I’d go broke in a few months just trying to calm the hungry horrors, not to mention the new wardrobe I’d have to purchase in a larger size. Fortunately, Shrek and I have been stocking the fridge with wholesome foods so on Saturday he whipped up a hearty dinner of grilled steak, mushrooms, and asparagus. My contribution? Watermelon… and immediately following I insisted we go out for a Rolo McFlurry!

Watermelon is certainly healthy and something I really like! Asparagus is great and then throw in mushrooms………………whoa…………we need to get there for dinner soon. Swam 45 minutes today and understand the hunger thing.
