Girls’ Weekend

A few weeks ago a friend who’s got a local photography studio asked if I’d help with a project she’s working on. Of course I volunteered my time, especially once it was settled that a few of my favorite local wineries would be the backdrop! Please note, photos below are not part of my friend’s project. I brought my own camera along since I love taking photos for fun. Plus, she’s a much better photographer than I so I’m sure her final takes were much better.

Standing atop Monte Bello at Ridge Vineyards. Trench by Juicy Couture, denim by Gap, watch by Fossil, shoes…

…by Tory Burch! They’re my early birthday gift from Shrek :D

Tory Burch “Natalya.” They are so, so comfy! I kid you not.

Smiles!

At Savannah Chanelle just hangin’ around.

Wardrobe change: cardigan and scarf by Forever 21, boyfriend jeans by Gap, watch by Fossil, ring by H&M, boots by Frye.

On Sunday a few of us met at my place for mimosas and homemade scones before carpooling up 101 to Sonja’s birthday brunch at Palo Alto’s University Cafe. G and I went in on a tennis-themed gift since hey, Sonja’s been playing all this time without a racket to call her own! It also means no more lugging around extra rackets and balls for us! :P

Immediately following we headed over a few blocks to the Stanford Shopping Center. There, I collected my 4 FREE Sprinkles Cupcakes I’d received from a prior event. Peanut butter, Chocolate Coconut, Red Velvet, and Marshmallow… OH MY! And hey, there just happened to be 4 of us! Though we cut them in fourths so we could try a bit of each.

They definitely give Kara’s a run for the money. However, Kara’s still comes out on top! Full reviews of the wineries and eateries mentioned here will be explored in future posts later this week, so stay tuned!
