
I’m one lucky girl. On Monday, Shrek asked what I had in mind for dinner that night. It was one of the few evenings we’d be eating together this week what with his crazy work schedule and my tennis meet ups with the girls. Always one to anticipate my next meal or two, I mentioned salmon and asparagus. One, it sounded great. Two, salmon makes awesome leftovers whether reheated or in the form of a cold salmon-salad sandwich. Or a salad topped with salmon.
Hey, what do you know — when I got home that night Shrek was busy making HOMEMADE teriyaki sauce (with a hint of citrus!) for the salmon.
