On Sunday Shrek and I passed a drizzly day in Oakland with friends and ended up at Beer Revolution, aka Beer Heaven. I’m not one to imbibe in beer, but I was impressed. They had some 15 on tap and 400+ refrigerated bottles you can crack open there at no extra cost for a $1.00 corkage fee or mix and match ‘em to take home.

I decided as Shrek was getting rung up that I’d like some cider to go and so ensued the following exchange which I found delightfully entertaining.

Shrek: “Hey, what ciders would you recommend?”

Beer Revolution Guy (BRG): “Ask Paul”

Shrek: Who’s Paul?

BRG: ASK Paul

Shrek: I don’t know who Paul is. Which one is he?

BRG: No, ASS-PAUL. In the 4th fridge on the second shelf.

LOL!

P.S. It’s good! The bottle was $7.99 and tasted a lot like champagne!
