I ran 8 miles yesterday and towards the end of my run a little black bug flew up my nose!! Getting it out was not my finest moment. Then when I got back to wash my face I noticed 2 more little guys stuck in the sweat of my hairline along my forehead. SO GROSS! I’m really starting to think those Asian ladies wearing the face shields are on to something.

Immediately following I met up with a few of my girlfriends for tennis. Unfortunately, now that darkness descends upon us so early, courts with lights are at a premium which meant we waited for 45 minutes for an open court until I suggested we grab drinks at one of our favorite bars instead. At some point conversation turned to how supportive our men are when it comes to encouraging us to pursue our hobbies and career dreams. They mentioned how their husbands or exes had put them through school. I told them I knew exactly what they meant — while trying to keep a straight face. Just that day I’d received WordPress for Dummies and Creative Suite 5 Design for Dummies in the mail. Shrek had taken it upon himself to purchase them for me from Amazon.com. Okay, so it’s not exactly a second degree, but the love and support is still there and that’s what matters most!
