Zebra Cookies

My friend’s reply when I told her I got a booster shot in my butt:

Funny cuz i got my tet shot in the arm. maybe your arms are so much slimmer than mine? They needed something w/padding on you!

Haha, no. But gotta love girlfriends!

My doctor did note, though, that my BMI is 18.7% which is considered “normal and very healthy!” Let’s hope my blood work determines the same because I celebrated by baking these over the weekend:

Shrek dubbed them Zebra Cookies.

They say necessity is the motherhood of invention. I only had one bag of semi sweet chocolate chips and a bag of white chocolate chips on hand so they had to do. Truthfully, I think these are even better than the original recipe. If you’ve tried the original recipe, I know, it’s hard to fathom. But the super sweet white chocolate together with the semi sweet bitter dark chocolate makes my taste buds dance! Shrek’s, too. He took like 8 to work with him on Monday “to share.” Yeah, sure, so did I…….. to share……. teehee. Actually, I really did and they were a hit!

To make your own, follow the original recipe but substitute one bag of white chocolate chips for a bag of semi sweet morsels.
