Viva Las Vegas

Okay, I’m back! While I’m still in the process of returning to Earth after my much-reveled in 10-day vacation with Shrek, here are a few photos I snapped while sightseeing in Vegas.

The Venetian Hotel and Casino.

The Grand Canal at the Venetian Hotel.

Check out that ceiling!

Me at the Venetian Hotel. Teehee.

Our home sweet home for 4 days.

Fashion Mall across the street from the Wynn and Encore. Very future-esque and VERY CONVENIENT. One, they have a food court along with CPK, Maggianos, sushi and Mexican eats for those of us who’d rather not drop $90 on lunch. Two, they have practically every store in existence including (drum roll, please) an ABC Store! I got very familiar with these while in Honolulu. Think BEST 7-Eleven ever times ten. Shrek and I stocked up on Ketel One and cranberry juice here to avoid paying $15 per drink at our hotel.

Hiiiiiiiiigh heels! (Dorothy, we’re not in Kansas anymore.)

On me: Vest by Gap, tee by Forever 21, black denim by Paige, flats by Tory Burch, bag by Burberry, cuff by Flying Lizard Dragon, ring by J Crew, sunglasses by Marc Jacobs

I think I mentioned before that this was my first visit and what I think a lot of people were surprised about, aside from the initial shock that I’d never been, was that I was going to RELAX. In Vegas.

See, Vegas has got a whole lot of everything so that, just like their amazing buffets, you can pick and choose and tailor your experience to your liking. Strip clubs and night clubs not your thing? Get a massage, hop a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, take in the phenomenal shows, and advantage of the 5 star dining. Or if nudie bars and dancing on tables are your thing, PARTEEEEEE on! They’ve got it for you as long as you’re game to indulge.

My plan? Eat. Sleep. Lay by the pool. Catch a few shows. Work out. Get a massage. Soak in a bubble bath. And that’s exactly what I did! More to follow shortly.
