I’ve found my calling…in bocce ball. Friday evening we got off work early to head over to Campo di Bocce for a a few spirited rounds of bocce, drinks, dinner, and dessert hosted by our company. IT WAS SO FUN!
Il bar
They’ve got quite the wine and beer selection which they’ll happily serve to you on the courts (though not ON the courts), in the dining area, or you can open a tab at the bar. I was more than happy with my Raumbauer Chardonnay which I’d recently been turned on to by a friend. They also had La Crema Chardonnay, another favorite, amongst many others. Or you can bring your own bottle for a $15 corkage fee.
I love the ambiance of their outdoor courts and dining area.

Bocce courts
If you’re unfamiliar with Bocce, it’s Italian and similar or a cross between Shuffleboard and Croquet (minus the mallets and rungs). It is also a great group activity. The beauty of the game? The more you drink the better you get. Or at least, that strategy worked for me!
Outdoor dining area where we ate
Their facility has a full restaurant which we took full advantage of. We nibbled on calamari, crab cakes, bruschetta, a veggie platter, cheesy garlic bread, and wine while playing. At dinner we had a caesar and a spinach salad, penne alfredo with chicken and broccoli, spaghetti bolognese, chicken parmigiana, marinated steak strips, and a lovely assortment of cheesecakes and tiramisu. YUM!
