I am a serious breakfast person. It could very easily be my favorite meal of the day and it’s not an oddity for me to have it twice in a single day or scrimp on sleep in order not to miss it. Some lazy weekend mornings I’ll whip up eggs, potatoes, and sausage with bagels and lox and a side of fruit, eat, and go back to bed until noon. Since Jetsetter and I were at the airport by 6:30 on Saturday morning and I got detained when airport security discovered chemicals on my hands there was no time for breakfast. Therefore, we were ravenous by the time we landed in Seattle. So glad we stopped at Cafe Flora in Madison Park! Everything from the food to the service and decor was just blissful and the perfect start to our whirlwind Washington visit.
Beignets with Blueberry sauce
Spinach and diced tomato omelette
Asparagus sun-dried tomato omelette with pesto and sour cream

Tall latte. Isn’t it lovely?
Blueberry Jasmine Tea. See the little blueberries?

Cafe Flora is one of my fave places for brunch. Another good, yet surprising brunch place is Pesos in Queen Anne. Tasty brunch by day, club by night.
Oh yum, I just checked out their breakfast menu. Looks verrry promising! I will keep that in mind for the time I fly in looking for some breakfast bites!
