A few nights back I prepped veggies and meat with a dash of spices for the crock pot…
Just before bed I set it on low and woke in the morning to the most delicious aroma. It was mouthwatering and enveloped me like a warm hug. I had no problem bouncing out of bed that morning to check on the stew’s overnight progress.
It was divine.
For the best results, use minimal spices during the cooking process. Since the portion is small-army-huge, I let it cool and divvied it up into tupperware servings for two. Some went into the freezer, a few in the fridge. Throughout the week I heated little batches at a time on the stove top for dinner. Add spices and Wondra flour to thicken broth during this process.
Enjoy!
