Saturday around noon was sunny and Santa Cruz was calling my name. Shrek, who is always game to “go over the hill” as he calls it, threw our beach chairs in the trunk and off we went in search of ocean views and nourishment. We decided to grab a bite and a beer at Acapulco, 1116 Pacific Ave. Excellent sidewalk seating, top notch service, and huge portions made me a happy diner.
